Compensations payable by insurance coverage firms for property damages inflicted in the course of the latest ‘Daniel’ storm are estimated at over 372 million euros, in line with a report compiled by the Hellenic Affiliation of Insurance coverage Firms (HAIC), launched on Tuesday.
In keeping with information offered by insurance coverage firms for the report, a complete of seven,426 damages have been registered, of which 5,138 relate to property insurances (364.2 mln euros), 2,278 damages regarding vehicles (7.74 mln euros), 6 damages for sea vessel insurances (42,000 euros) and 4 transportation insurances (61,500 euros).
This quantity is the most important to be paid out in Greece for damages throughout floods and storms since HAIC started gathering such information in 1993, it was famous.
