WESTVILLE — A Kouts man was taken into custody Thursday and faces accusations of promoting stolen car elements out of his LaPorte County enterprise, police mentioned.
William Scott, 52, faces a felony depend of corrupt enterprise affect, the LaPorte County sheriff’s workplace reported Friday.
The accusations stem from info obtained throughout a residential housebreaking name through the early morning hours of Might 5, police mentioned.
Police mentioned they realized stolen auto elements have been being taken to and bought by Catalytic Change within the 5600 South block of U.S. 421 in Westville.
Detectives visited the enterprise Might 6 and returned the next day with a search warrant and recovered a number of hundred auto elements, police mentioned.
Following a number of extra weeks of investigation, Scott was taken into custody Thursday at his enterprise, police mentioned.
Scott was launched from the LaPorte County Jail later that day after a $15,005 money bond was posted on his behalf, police mentioned.
