Continental plans to open a EUR140m (US$171m) auto electronics manufacturing facility in Novi Unhappy, in northern Serbia, the federal government of Vojvodina province has stated.
The manufacturing facility will make use of at least 500 employees, seenews.com stated, citing a Vojvodina provincial authorities assertion.
Continental determined to put money into the manufacturing facility following the wonderful efficiency of its analysis and growth (R&D) centre for automobile inside and security management programs in Novi Unhappy, managing director of Continental Serbia, Sasa Coringa, stated after assembly with the president of the Vojvodina authorities, Igor Mirovic.
Continental opened its R&D centre in Novi Unhappy in March 2018 and has employed about 500 engineers up to now. The corporate operates a plant for pipes and pipe programs for automobile powertrains in Subotica, in northern Serbia.
