Apollo Tyres on Wednesday stated it would scale back product costs ranging between ₹300 and ₹2,000 to move on the GST charge minimize profit to clients efficient from September 22.
The passenger car tyres will see a value discount between ₹300 and ₹1,500, whereas the costs for truck/bus radial tyres will decline by round ₹2,000.
The GST Council has decreased the Items and Companies Tax (GST) on new pneumatic tyres from 28 per cent to 18 per cent, and on tractor tyres and tubes from the earlier charge to five per cent.
