Renault Nissan Know-how & Enterprise Centre India (RNTBCI) has named Dr Vikraman V as its new Chief of Renault Engineering, in line with an official replace on LinkedIn.
Dr Vikraman brings with him over 17 years of expertise throughout India’s main automotive OEMs, together with a protracted stint at Mahindra & Mahindra. At Mahindra, he led a workforce of greater than 800 engineers in growing world-class Born EV and ICE merchandise aimed toward redefining the SUV section in India.
Amongst his notable contributions is the event of the inflexible axle with penta-link suspension for the lately launched Mahindra Thar Roxx, a design impressed by Galileo’s ideas of kinematics.
An alumnus of IIT Madras with an MS and PhD in engineering, Dr Vikraman is the applicant of greater than 50 patents, writer of 25 SAE Worldwide papers and 4 worldwide journal articles. His work has earned him the ARAI Younger Engineer Award (2017) and a number of Mahindra Innovation and RISE Awards.
