Qualcomm has roughly 22,000 workers, or 60 per cent of its workforce, in India.

Qualcomm has been bullish on chipsets for cars, particularly electrical autos. The corporate has partnered with all the main automotive OEMs (unique tools producers), together with Tata Motors, Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai, to offer them with chipsets for modernising automobiles.

It has the Snapdragon Elite chipset platform for telematics, infotainment and driver help, together with ADAS (Superior Driver Help Methods).

Duggal mentioned that in 2026, there’ll in all probability be a dozen autos that can deploy its Snapdragon Cockpit Elite and Snapdragon Experience Elite SoC (System on Chip), which had been introduced in October 2024 and delivered to clients in early 2025.
