Stellantis deepens AI investment with in-car voice assistant

Stellantis is deepening its relationship with giant language mannequin (LLM) and generative synthetic intelligence (GenAI) participant Mistral AI. On 7 February 2025, the automaker introduced that their collaboration was transferring past engineering, knowledge evaluation, gross sales and manufacturing, and into AI-powered in-car assistants.

Stellantis has proved an enthusiastic early adopter of GenAI, incorporating it throughout manufacturers like Alfa Romeo, Citroen, Peugeot, and Vauxhall. Though a wave of latest govt appointments following the ousting of former Chief Govt Carlos Tavares is predicted to shake up the corporate’s general technique, it seems that investing in AI will proceed to be a mainstay.
