Sarala Aviation, a Bengaluru-based startup unveiled its prototype air taxi, Shunya, on the Bharat Mobility World Expo on Saturday.
The corporate goals to launch the electrical flying taxis in Bengaluru by 2028 to grow to be the primary to introduce city air transport in India.
The Shunya prototype is designed for brief journeys of 20-30 kms and may attain speeds of upto 250 kmph. The car can accommodate as much as six passengers and carry a most load of 680 kg, which the corporate stated makes it the best payload eVTOL (electrical vertical take-off and touchdown) car at present available on the market. It goals to cost the providers at ranges similar to current premium taxi providers.
