Automotive and bikes engines will roar for the ultimate cruise of the summer time season Friday evening.
After the cancelation of the final Automotive and Bike Present as a result of inclement climate, Fundamental Avenue Duncan’s Friday evening Automotive Cruise will deliver a modified Automotive and Bike Present, together with an awards presentation Sept. 20.
The Automotive and Bike Cruise will run from 8:15-9:30 p.m. from seventh Avenue and tenth Avenue alongside Fundamental Avenue.
Government Director Brandi Johnson stated members will get the chance to showcase their autos and compete for a wide range of awards.
“The cruise will run by historic downtown Duncan with autos parading alongside Fundamental Avenue from tenth Avenue to seventh Avenue,” she stated. “Tailgate events are welcome, making it an awesome household outing.”
Registration is $15 for the cruise solely and $20 for the cruise and automobile present. Members will want proof of legal responsibility insurance coverage and a sound driver’s license.
Johnson stated solely avenue authorized autos will probably be accepted and burnouts won’t be permitted.
Automotive Present registration will start at 6 p.m. on the northwest nook of Fundamental and tenth Avenue and judging will start at 7:30 p.m. There will probably be an awards presentation at 8:15 p.m. at Fundamental and ninth Avenue.
All proceeds from the occasion will go towards the Fundamental Avenue Duncan façade grant.
Johnson stated the grant helps to help native companies with important exterior updates, corresponding to lighting, paint, awnings and signage.
She stated this helps to boost the aesthetic, in addition to the enchantment of Fundamental Avenue Duncan.
