THE Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI) reviews that Australian new-vehicle gross sales decreased by 9.7 per cent in contrast with June final 12 months and that by the half-way mark of 2022, the market had contracted by 5.2 per cent year-on-year.

FCAI reviews these prime 5 manufacturers had market-share percentages of twenty-two.6 per cent, 8.5 per cent, 8.3 per cent, 6.2 per cent and 5.8 per cent respectively.

 

For the year-to-date, Toyota leads with 121,377 items (a 22.6 per cent share of the market), adopted by Mazda with 49,932 (9.3 per cent), Mitsubishi with 41,748 (7.8 per cent), Kia with 39,419 (7.3 per cent) and Hyundai with 38,167 (7.1 per cent)    

 

Unsurprisingly, the Toyota HiLux was comfortably the best promoting new-vehicle mannequin in June 2022, with 7582 deliveries. Hyundai’s Tucson was subsequent with 2840 items, adopted by Ford’s Ranger (2802), then Toyota’s Landcruiser (2783) and Corolla (2605).
