Up to date:BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A person who police say drove at speeds in extra of 100 mph when he misplaced management and crashed, killing two passengers, pleaded not responsible Monday to prices together with two counts of homicide.
Andrew Olin Fenderson, 19, made his first court docket look in a wheelchair as he entered the not responsible pleas and was ordered held on $750,000 bail. He’s due again in court docket July 19.
Police say Fenderson was impaired by cocaine and marijuana on the time of the Feb. 17 crash.
In response to a search warrant, Fenderson’s black BMW 325i barreled alongside Ming Avenue at speeds between 112 to 119 mph when he misplaced management and slammed right into a wood pole. The impression tore the automobile into two giant items, police mentioned.
Daniel Armando Encinas Davalos, 33, and Future Mariah Munoz, 21, died. A 3rd passenger and Fenderson suffered severe accidents.
Fenderson can also be charged with two counts of gross vehicular manslaughter whereas intoxicated, driving below the affect of a drug inflicting bodily damage, assault with a lethal weapon aside from a firearm, driving on a suspended or revoked license, having an unregistered car and no proof of insurance coverage.
