BMW to make endurance racing return in 2023 with LMDh racer

BMW will make a return to top-level sports activities automobile racing within the new LMDh prototype class in 2023.

The Munich agency took victory at Le Mans with the V12 LMR prototype in 1999 and has been considering a return. The transfer was confirmed by BMW M boss Markus Flasch with a submit on Instagram displaying a picture of that automobile captioned: “We’re again, Daytona 2023.”

The new LMDh class is loosely based mostly on LMP2 equipment.
