Typically, turbo engines sound poorly because the turbo itself ‘blocks’ the pure engine sound. For this reason turbo engines all the time sound poorly, whether or not it is a McLaren, or a 911 Turbo, and so forth and so forth.
Equal size exhaust tubes sound higher than unequal size. The F8X has unequal size and at last the aftermarket has fastened this with a particular exhaust/exhaust plumbing.
It looks as if within the G8X we’re getting equal size exhaust from the manufacturing unit
In an inline 6 cylinder engine it’s not really easy to make a equal size exhaust, as every cylinder is a special distance from the muffler.
