TOKYO: Japan’s Suzuki Motor plans to reopen its two vegetation in Myanmar on Thursday after halting operations this week due to the nation’s navy coup, it mentioned on Wednesday.
The automaker halted operations on the vegetation on Monday after generals seized energy and detained elected chief Aung San Suu Kyi.
“We’re planning to reopen the vegetation, as we proceed to look at the scenario very fastidiously,” a spokesman mentioned.
Rival Mitsubishi Motors, which plans to open an meeting plant in Myanmar, mentioned on a post-earnings name on Tuesday that there have been no modifications to its plans for now.
