

Turnkey contractor of the MRT Putrajaya Line, MMC-Gamuda, has introduced the continuation of full lane closures and activation of contra circulation by phases on the KL-Seremban Freeway. The stretch in query is KM 307 to 309 close to South Metropolis Plaza.
Based on MMC-Gamuda, the lane closures are to facilitate pedestrian overhead bridge launching works and another associated works. The Serdang Raya South MRT station is throughout the freeway from South Metropolis Plaza. The work will probably be performed on a regular basis until February 3, from 10pm to 5am every day.
Throughout the full lane closure for KL-bound visitors, motorists will probably be diverted to a contra circulation lane within the Seremban-bound aspect. When works transfer to the opposite aspect, Seremban-bound visitors will probably be diverted to the contra circulation lane on the KL-bound aspect. See the maps above.
Motorists are suggested to comply with visitors indicators and the path of the flagmen throughout the activation of those street closures. Nevertheless, with the motion management order (MCO) in place, late night time visitors needs to be mild sufficient for this to not trigger a lot congestion.
