SAIL planning to set up India's first gas-to-ethanol plant in ChandrapurNew Delhi: SAIL with the assistance of the Centre is planning to arrange India’s first fuel to ethanol plant at its ferro alloy plant in Chandrapur in Maharashtra, in keeping with an official.

The official stated there’s a scope to supply 50,000 litre a/day of ethanol from about 10,000 regular meter dice (nmc) per hour fuel produced at Chandrapur.
