BEIJING: Electrical automobile (EV) maker BYD has agreed to construct a brand new EV battery manufacturing unit within the jap Chinese language metropolis of Bengbu.
It should have an annual manufacturing capability of 20-gigawatt hours (GWh), the town’s authorities mentioned in an announcement on Tuesday.
Complete funding for Shenzhen-based BYD’s new manufacturing unit shall be 6 billion yuan ($916.55 million), it mentioned.
