Italian power group Eni mentioned it had signed a complete of 19 agreements with firms to seize and retailer their carbon emissions as a part of its HyNet North West venture within the UK.Eni UK, the operator of the HyNet venture, mentioned six of the agreements had been signed in January and included power intensive firms.
The HyNet North West venture will rework one of the energy-intensive industrial districts within the UK into the world’s first low carbon industrial cluster, Eni mentioned.
Eni is investing in carbon seize and storage companies as a part of its drive to be carbon impartial by 2050.
