We arrived at Efficiency Eurowerks early to offer the G82 its first crack (pre-break in) on their new Dynojet 424x with Linx System. Making an attempt to schedule a dyno final minute within the Chicago space could be a problem – fortunately Alex@PE and his crew had been capable of accommodate us and shortly the brand new M4 was strapped in and able to roll. The sound of the brand new S58 motor from BMW M is intoxicating; for as thrilled as we had been with the general step up in efficiency of the S55 over the out-going S65 on the time, coming from one among BMW’s greatest sounding engines within the S65 was an adjustment and F8x S55 sound by no means totally related with the group.
Our G82 M4 (non comp, RWD) did surprisingly properly, making us marvel if the automotive is barely underrated.
